ABOUT THE GOLDEN BICYCLE CRUISE
The Golden Bicycle Cruise is a family friendly event held on the last Tuesday evening of the month, May through September. Participants cruise along the bike paths and streets of Golden. The rides are themed, and riders encouraged to wear costumes and decorate their bikes. 100-150 riders of all ages participate. Each cruise features a different Golden band and two prize drawings. Beer from New Terrain Brewery is paired with burgers from Bob's Atomic Burgers. 5280 Magazine has called the Golden Bike Cruise one of the "5 Best Social Bike Rides Around Denver"!
We are privileged to partner with non-profit organizations based in Golden, including BikeWalkGolden, CASA Jeffco/Gilpin, Golden High School Football Boosters, BGoldN, Golden Rotary and the Pi Beta Phi chapter at Colorado School Of Mines.

The cruise event begins and ends at 818 14th Street, the upper deck of the Calvary Church/Armory parking garage. The riding portion is a simple loop up to the New Loveland Mine Park and back along the streets and bike trails of Golden. See the map in the downloads section.
The whole event takes place between 5:30-9:00pm. The breakdown is:
5:30pm - Kegs tapped
6:30pm - Cruise Ride
7:30pm - Kids Giveaway
8:30pm - Adult Giveaway
9:00pm - Music Ends

The Bike Cruise is held on the last Tuesday of the month, May through September - rain or shine!
The Golden Bike Cruise is a fundraiser, with half of the beer sales going towards next year's expenses and the other half being donated to our monthly non-profit partners.
In 2026, our non-profit partners are BikeWalkGolden, the Golden High School Football Boosters, BGoldN, CASA Jeffco/Gilpin (Court Appointed Special Advocates), Golden Rotary and the Pi Beta Phi chapter at CSM.
We invite Golden businesses to sponsor the Bike Cruise! For a small donation, we will hang your banner at every cruise, include your logo on our poster and shout out your business name during the event.
ABSOLUTELY! We hold a kids giveaway midway through the evening and an adult giveaway at the end of each cruise. We wouldn't have prizes without the generous donations of swag and merch from our amazing Golden merchants! This also gives each merchant that donates added marketing opportunities.
For kids, there are four ways to get a raffle ticket. (1) Just by showing up (2) By wearing a costume (3) By bringing canned goods for a local food pantry (4) by purchasing food. This year, adults will get tickets for wearing a costume, buying a burger and BUYING BEER! The only way we make money is on beer purchases. All profits are split with our non-profit volunteer partners.
